2 Years Later

We played it low-key for our anniversary this year - no last minute trips to Paris or anything like that. Instead, we used a gift certificate I got for my birthday last year (SO romantic, I know) and went to dinner at a swanky place in Corvallis, called Del Alma. We decided that since our dinner cost over $60.00 (which, thankfully, the gift certificate covered), we probably wouldn't be frequent visitors. Although I can hear the soft, tempting whispers of the bacon guacamole, beckoning to me from River Front. I will try to resist.

These beautiful babies were also at home awaiting my arrival before we went to dinner. I think I've got that boy trained! I guess he can live with me for another year. As long as he keeps putting the toilet seat down.

We've had an amazing two years together, and since I am worded out for the day, here's a look at some of the highlights in pictures:

Before our Marriage began, the adventures had already started...
Tyler flew to Seattle to meet me at a Sociology conference...and to meet my family. Dum dum dum...
We went to Vegas (and did not get married by Elvis, much to my chagrin)
Crater Lake, just a month before the big DAY
Sometimes we danced in the rain
One day, I graduated.
I said yes.
We said yes.
We honeymooned.
Then we decided that New York City is always a good idea...
We decided India might be fun, too. Oh wait. Is that in Spanish FARK?
Tyler graduated.
We both realized how devastatingly attractive we were.
Our friend Song hooked us up with a gazillion Jazz tickets. Die Hards.
With nothing better to do, we set off to the Southern Hemisphere for a month.

Buenos Aires, Argentina
Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego
A much larger Tyler came with me in spirit to the Colorado Rockies.
5K Mudrun
We survived one year.
BYU vs. Portland Pilots
5K (again)
We decided it was time to head south again...
And then we conquered our fear of heights on the South Sister (I still don't walk right).
And two years later, I am still almost the same size as Tyler. The end.
