I've had writer's block. Not unlike the Berlin Wall, it has kept me from expressing my truest opinions and my deepest feelings (not to mention my unadulterated loathing for toilet spray and bathroom doors that swing in instead of out, preventing quick escapes from the treacherous micro-bacteria ferociously attacking my body through any exposed body cavity). So today I've decided that it's time to take action, to be bold, to fight what has been holding me back for all of these....days. In the spirit of Ronald Reagan (you know, that movie star with that nice hair) I say, "Mr. Gorbachev--TEAR DOWN THIS WALL."
Blood, sweat, and a click of a mouse button later, and I'm back and freer than ever. I think I even feel a bead of sweat sliding down my brow from the arduous work (oh wait--that's blood from a zit. Whoops. Be right back...............)
Ok, now I'm back for reals this time (Fo' Reals!) and I just wanted to take a moment to express my true and undying love for pudding. I know, I know. I wish it was for a boy, too. But for now, pudding will have to do.
When asked what my favorite food is, I have often claimed pudding (no, not apples). I can't get enough of the texture -- the cold slime as it slides down my throat. Nothing beats mixing fat free JELLO instant pudding with cool whip and eating it with a rubber baby spoon.
That's really all I wanted to do today on this blog, to proclaim my feelings for something that has come to mean so much to me over the course of my life, and something I take entirely too much for granted. I give so much respect to the garden burger, while that jiggly goodness, which has been such a loyal friend in so many different stages of my life, sits on the shelf, unmade. It needs to move, it needs to be free. And it can't do it alone. I hope that when I have children that I don't focus on the healthy, solid ones and leave the jiggly ones in their rooms all day. That wouldn't be good.
Now don't you wish I still had writer's block?

Reading this blog was like looking into the shining face of Allah.
Your blog changed my life, Jess. So much, in fact, that I am planning on going out to purchase an exorbitant amount of pudding tonight.
Thanks for beating the block :)
