Blast the Early Morning

I woke up at 5:25 this morning. It was extremely hard getting up, too. My alarm, which is set to static, seemed to go off forever before I actually turned it off and climbed out of bed. Stumbling to the kitchen, I blindly set about my early morning routine. I took a Dannon Light'n Fit Yogurt from the fridge and placed it in the freezer. I then popped two pieces of whole wheat toast in the toaster and got the applebutter out of the fridge. Waiting for the toast to be done, I hunted down an US Weekly magazine and preceeded to sit at the table and read it. Upon hearing my toast pop up, I spread the applebutter on it and ate it as I read about other people's lives. I then got the yogurt out from the freezer (which I freeze to get it extra cold when I eat it) and ate it, too. Finally, after brushing my teeth, I was ready to go to work. Suddenly, however the phone rang. It was-----the FARM. "Um, we're not starting until 9:00 this morning to let the fruit dry out." AUGH! Like a stab wound to the heart! I could have so slept in longer. Immediately my eyes got heavy and my mind began to blur. At this hour of the morning, my body knew where it was supposed to be--bed. However, I couldn't bring myself to go back to sleep. So here I am, on the computer, typing on this blog, waiting until 8:40 to leave my house and venture to the land of blueberries. Well, maybe after writing this, I could use a nap...

So this might be our last week of working! Praise the heavens. There is life after blueberries. Lined up for the rest of my summer is this: P-Town trip this weekend, camping at the coast the next weekend, Bob Dylan concert on July 31, the Fair the next week, and the Howie Day concert on Aug. 10th. ANd then I leave for school the next week! Weird. Allright, well I shall post again.

Ta ta for now
