The Next Generation

As I type this, my little brother is sitting at the laptop next to me "working." He told me is "printing out his checks" and "checking his email." At the same time, he is on msnbc.com watching news clips on recent news events. He is currently learning about Bush's relations with Russia. Oh, and now he's moved on to the report on a dozen killed in Iraq. My mom asked him, "Bryce...it's time for dinner." and he replied, "I'm WORKING!"
This is a new generation of children. Everyday my little brother gets on the computer, he accesses the internet and watches the news clips on MSN. When he feels he has soaked in enough information, he gets himself onto Nick Jr. and plays the games on it. He is more computer savvy than I am! Today's children are going to know how to type before they can write...
We also have a DVD player in our car. Since Bryce was born, he has watched a DVD every time he is in the car. As a result, he has a very difficult time riding in cars without movies. What has the world come to? I used to be satisfied with just playing the alphebet game. Now we listen to Sponge Bob...
